Nicely decorated and well heated rooms come with shared bathroom, a comfortable bed, a view of a snow-topped mountain. The staff are excellent and the location is unbeatable and nice in the centre of Zermatt.

The hotel was located very close to the train station and Gornergrat railway, the center of town and Zermatt. The room was en suite and fashionable with shared bathroom and great views. The location was excellent for walking around a unique museum.

It has marvellous and brilliant location in Zermatt adjacent to the centre of Zermatt and the mountains where the buildings are mostly old and the shopping, restaurants, and train station. Every time in Zermatt we stay in this hotel.

This hotel is a great value for money, especially considering its central location in the village and its proximity to the bus stop for the slopes. The rooms are comfortable, and some even have balconies, which is a nice bonus. The staff is friendly and the basic amenities are provided, including a shared bathroom option. I had a fantastic stay at the cozy mountain retreat. The owner, Mrs. Wittmer, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. She greeted me every morning with a warm smile and remembered my name, making me feel like a valued guest. The fresh flowers and fruits in the lounge added a touch of elegance to the atmosphere. And let me tell you about the breakfast! It was simply amazing with homemade dishes like fresh muesli and fruit salad. I have to say, this was one of my absolute favorite breakfasts I've had in any hotel. The location of the hotel is also unbeatable, just 400 meters away from the train station. I was incredibly impressed by the positive changes and improvements made by Mrs. Wittmer. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional professionalism and warmth.
